Short Term Let Consultation ahead of Commonwealth Games 2026

The Licensing and Regulatory Committee at its meeting on 27 August 2025 considered a report by the Director of Legal and Administration in relation to amending its Short Term Lets Policy, solely to permit a temporary exemption from the licensing regime of Short Term Lets in respect of Glasgow’s hosting of the XXII Commonwealth Games in 2026. Glasgow’s second time hosting of these Games.
